CAMT Balance Checker – Exact Reconciliation
Compare explicit opening and closing balances with signed entry movement, without double-counting child transaction details.
Inputs
- Supported CAMT XML with balances and entries
- An explicit currency and compatible opening/closing balance types
Outputs
- Exact expected and actual closing balances
- Evidence and warnings when the equation cannot be established
How it works
- Open a supported document.
- Review available balance types and currencies.
- Inspect the reconciliation equation and its evidence.
Versions and hierarchy
- Registered V08 and V14 launch namespaces
Only entry-level amounts participate in the balance equation.
Amounts, signs, and preservation
CRDT and DBIT determine sign; reversal indicators are handled explicitly; currency mismatches block the equation.
The original file remains unchanged and recoverable. Every download profile states its assumptions and transformation or loss behavior.
Limits and claims we do not make
- A balanced equation does not establish completeness, authenticity, or bank-profile compliance.
- Pending camt.052 entries are not silently treated as booked movement.
