Browser Support and File Limits

The workspace targets current evergreen browsers and enforces defensive local-processing limits.

Browsers

Use a current desktop release of Chrome, Edge, Firefox, or Safari. Mobile memory ceilings are lower than desktop and should be tested with representative files.

Published limits

The current hard file ceiling is 50 MiB on desktop and 20 MiB on mobile, with a 25 MiB desktop warning threshold. XML depth, attributes, text-node size, node count, and entry count also have defensive ceilings.

No background upload

Opening a file does not enable cloud sync, remote schema resolution, or a server-side statement backup.
