camt.053 to JSON – Canonical or Preservation-Aware

Export either a documented canonical financial model or a preservation-aware JSON representation with source paths and lexical XML.

Inputs

  • Supported camt.053 V08 or V14 XML

Outputs

  • Canonical JSON
  • Preservation-aware JSON

How it works

  1. Open a supported statement.
  2. Choose canonical or preservation JSON.
  3. Review profile metadata and download.

Versions and hierarchy

  • camt.053.001.08
  • camt.053.001.14

Document hierarchy is represented as nested data with stable local IDs and source paths.

Amounts, signs, and preservation

BigInt-derived coefficients serialize as strings and original decimal text is retained.

The original file remains unchanged and recoverable. Every download profile states its assumptions and transformation or loss behavior.

Limits and claims we do not make

  • Canonical JSON is a CAMT Tools profile, not an ISO standard.
  • Choose preservation JSON when unmapped XML must remain inspectable.
  • Consumers must version against the declared formatVersion.
