Amounts, signs, and preservation

BigInt-derived coefficients serialize as strings and original decimal text is retained.

The original file remains unchanged and recoverable. Every download profile states its assumptions and transformation or loss behavior.

Limits and claims we do not make

  • Canonical JSON is a CAMT Tools profile, not an ISO standard.
  • Choose preservation JSON when unmapped XML must remain inspectable.
  • Consumers must version against the declared formatVersion.
