Compare CAMT Files – Exact Structural Differences

Compare two supported CAMT documents by message, container, balance, entry, and transaction-reference fields with exact source evidence.

How it works

  1. Open the left document in the private workspace.
  2. Choose Compare & format and select the right document.

Versions and hierarchy

  • Registered camt.052, camt.053, and camt.054 V08/V14 namespaces

Containers match by explicit ID where available; entries use entry reference, then servicer reference, then stable source order; duplicate keys stay numbered.

Amounts, signs, and preservation

Amounts are compared as exact lexical strings with currency and direction fields; no floating-point coercion or guessed semantic equivalence occurs.

The original file remains unchanged and recoverable. Every download profile states its assumptions and transformation or loss behavior.

Limits and claims we do not make

  • Unknown preserved XML is outside the canonical field comparison.
  • The on-screen table is capped for responsiveness while the report remains complete.
  • A difference report does not determine which document is authoritative.
