How to Redact CAMT XML Before Sharing

Replace selected identifiers, names, references, and remittance values with explicit markers while keeping the original locally recoverable.

Choose literal redaction

Literal redaction replaces selected leaf text with [REDACTED]. It is different from pseudonymisation: the output does not attempt to preserve the source value's shape.

Review source paths

The preview names each changed class, element, and source path without copying the original value into the interface report.

Check recipient rules

The marker is well-formed XML but may not satisfy an exact XSD or bank profile. Keep the original bytes and disclose that the output is transformed, not bank-issued.
