CAMT Entries and Transaction Details Without Double Counting

Learn why entry rows and transaction-detail rows belong to different hierarchy levels.

The posting level

An Ntry is the account-level entry used for entry totals and balance movement. Its amount and CRDT/DBIT indicator define the signed posting value.

The detail level

TxDtls explains all or part of a parent entry with references, parties, agents, remittance, and amount breakdowns. Detail amounts may be partial, repeated, or expressed in another role.

Export deliberately

Choose an entry CSV for posting rows or a transaction-detail CSV for payment detail. A row-level label and parent key should always travel with flattened data.
