CAMT Metadata Inspector – IDs, Versions, Times, and Signatures

Review family, exact namespace, wrapper, AppHdr identity, timestamps, sequences, signature presence, and file hash locally.

Inputs

  • Supported CAMT XML

Outputs

  • Detection and metadata summary
  • Optional local SHA-256 and metadata CSV

How it works

  1. Open a supported file.
  2. Review Detection summary and Metadata index.
  3. Optionally calculate SHA-256 or download visible metadata rows.

Versions and hierarchy

  • Registered camt.052/.053/.054 V08 and V14 namespaces

Metadata is explicitly labelled as document- or container-level rather than transaction-level.

Amounts, signs, and preservation

Metadata inspection does not modify financial values.

The original file remains unchanged and recoverable. Every download profile states its assumptions and transformation or loss behavior.

Limits and claims we do not make

  • Signature presence is detected but cryptographic validity is not verified.
  • A SHA-256 identifies bytes; it does not establish authenticity.

Synthetic example

Use the public synthetic samples to examine structure without exposing a real account or transaction.
